Resilio Studio were engaged by Auckland Council Park Services to test previous concept designs developed for the site and define a clear scope for further detailed investigation

The strategic assessment involved extensive analysis of the site and context that was used as the basis for testing the feasibility of existing concept designs for the site. In addition to this overall design, three development pathways were proposed as options for starting the development process and activating the Atlas Concrete site. The development pathways, which included development of community facilities and public spaces, walking and cycling connections and ecological restoration, were designed in a way that will enable them to be pursued sequentially in any order and/or in parallel.
